Hey there! My name is Samantha Grimaldi, and I am the owner and sole clinician at CoCreate Healing Center in Tinton Falls, NJ. My journey in the mental health field began in 2014 after earning my B.S. in Counseling and Human Services from the University of Scranton. I completed my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University and obtained my associate license in 2018. I achieved my full professional license in 2021. Over the past 10 years, I have gained extensive experience in various mental health settings, including community outreach, residential treatment, early intervention support services, intensive outpatient, and outpatient therapy services. In 2022, I fulfilled my dream of opening CoCreate Healing Center, primarily focusing on working with adults aged 21 and older who have experienced complex childhood trauma. I offer comprehensive individual therapy services, accept most insurances, and provide both in-person and telehealth sessions. My therapeutic approach is grounded in a client-centered, trauma-informed perspective, incorporating Polyvagal Theory, psycho-education, DBT-informed skills training, mindfulness, and self-compassion techniques. When interacting with clients, I listen compassionately, remain curious, and cultivate thoughtful communication. I believe my clients inherently have the internal tools and resources necessary to heal, and I see myself as a mirror that illuminates their strengths, intuition, and inner wisdom. I strive to be a heart witness and a sacred space holder for my clients, ensuring they feel seen, heard, and understood.
