Specializing in Trauma, Complex Trauma and Interpersonal Trauma
Unsure about the differences between Trauma, Complex Trauma, and Interpersonal Trauma? Click here to read my blog post and learn more.
I specialize in working with adults who have experienced trauma, complex trauma, and interpersonal trauma. My clients are often deeply insightful, recognizing patterns and struggles in their lives, but they find it challenging to translate that awareness into meaningful change. Many of them feel stuck in cycles of people-pleasing, codependency, and hyper-vigilance, saying "yes" when they want to say "no" and feeling trapped in their thoughts.
My approach is designed to help you bridge the gap between understanding your trauma and embodying the change you seek. Together, we’ll reconnect you with your true self and create healthier, more authentic relationships.
We Might Be a Good Fit If You…
Have suffered from trauma, complex trauma, and/or interpersonal trauma and are ready to understand and heal its impact on your life.
Possess deep insight into your patterns but struggle to turn that insight into action.
Often find yourself people-pleasing or putting others’ needs above your own at the expense of your well-being.
Experience codependency, taking responsibility for others’ emotions and suppressing your own needs and feelings.
Live in a state of hyper-vigilance, always alert, and finding it difficult to relax or feel safe.
Feel stuck in overthinking or intellectualizing your emotions without finding resolution.
Say "yes" when you want to say "no," complying with others’ expectations even when it goes against your own wishes.
Strive for perfection or overachieve to seek validation, often feeling that you're never doing enough despite your efforts.
Struggle with forming or maintaining healthy connections due to attachment wounds from early life experiences.
Carry a sense of chronic shame or unworthiness, feeling inherently flawed, which prevents you from fully embracing joy or love.
You are physically safe in your current environment as an adult, but still find it difficult to fully experience a sense of safety, security, and joy due to the lingering effects of past trauma.

Yes, I accept most major insurances, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, and more.
During our consultation call, I will verify your benefits to determine if I am in-network with your insurance. If I am out of network with your insurance plan, we can discuss out of pocket options. My starting rate is $150, and I offer sliding scale options to lower that price if needed.
Please note: I am not in-network with Medicaid or Medicare. Due to state and federal laws, I unfortunately cannot accept out-of-pocket payments from individuals with these insurances, but I can provide you with a referral list to providers who accept your insurance.

Yes, I offer both in-person sessions at my office in Tinton Falls, NJ, and virtual telehealth sessions for clients in New Jersey. Both options provide the same level of care and support.

In our first 60-minute initial intake session, we will discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, your personal goals, and any concerns you have. It’s a time for you to share your story, and for me to listen. I’ll also ask some questions to get to know you better and begin developing a collaborative treatment plan tailored to your needs.
-
We will meet for 60-minute sessions either weekly or bi-weekly to start, depending on your needs and preferences. The frequency of sessions can be adjusted as we move through the therapy process and based on your progress.
-
The length of therapy varies for each individual. Some clients may benefit from short-term therapy focused on specific goals, while others may require longer-term support, particularly for trauma and complex trauma. We will work together to assess your progress and adjust our plan as needed.
