Let’s co-create healing

I honor the courage it takes to reach out for support. By taking this step, you’re already showing that you’re ready for change and healing. Together, we’ll create a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, always at your pace, with compassion and care.

Overview of Psychotherapy Services

At CoCreate Healing Center, I offer personalized 1:1 therapy for adults (21+) facing complex trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, designed to support your unique path toward healing.

Services Offered:

  • Individual Therapy: Focused, trauma-informed care to help you process your experiences, build healthy coping skills, and foster resilience. Each 60-minute session is tailored to your needs and goals.

  • In-Person and Telehealth Sessions: Choose what feels right for you, whether it's the convenience of virtual therapy or the connection of in-person sessions at my Tinton Falls, NJ office.

  • Insurance Accepted: I accept most major insurances (Horizon BCBS, Aetna, UHC, Cigna & more), making therapy more accessible so you can focus on healing without added stress.

Together, we’ll explore your experiences, identify your strengths, and turn insight into embodied change.

Specializing in Trauma, Complex Trauma and Interpersonal Trauma

I specialize in working with adults who have experienced trauma, complex trauma, and interpersonal trauma. My clients are often deeply insightful, recognizing patterns and struggles in their lives, but they find it challenging to translate that awareness into meaningful change. Many of them feel stuck in cycles of people-pleasing, codependency, and hyper-vigilance, saying "yes" when they want to say "no" and feeling trapped in their thoughts.

My approach is designed to help you bridge the gap between understanding your trauma and embodying the change you seek. Together, we’ll reconnect you with your true self and create healthier, more authentic relationships.

We Might Be a Good Fit If You…

  • Have suffered from trauma, complex trauma, and/or interpersonal trauma and are ready to understand and heal its impact on your life.

  • Possess deep insight into your patterns but struggle to turn that insight into action.

  • Often find yourself people-pleasing or putting others’ needs above your own at the expense of your well-being.

  • Experience codependency, taking responsibility for others’ emotions and suppressing your own needs and feelings.

  • Live in a state of hyper-vigilance, always alert, and finding it difficult to relax or feel safe.

  • Feel stuck in overthinking or intellectualizing your emotions without finding resolution.

  • Say "yes" when you want to say "no," complying with others’ expectations even when it goes against your own wishes.

  • Strive for perfection or overachieve to seek validation, often feeling that you're never doing enough despite your efforts.

  • Struggle with forming or maintaining healthy connections due to attachment wounds from early life experiences.

  • Carry a sense of chronic shame or unworthiness, feeling inherently flawed, which prevents you from fully embracing joy or love.

  • You are physically safe in your current environment as an adult, but still find it difficult to fully experience a sense of safety, security, and joy due to the lingering effects of past trauma.

My Therapy Approaches

  • I meet you where you are, respecting your pace and honoring your expertise on your life. We’ll create a space that fosters growth and healing based on your unique needs.

  • I use a trauma-informed approach that acknowledges how past experiences shape your present, while supporting you in building safety, trust, and resilience.

  • We’ll explore how your nervous system responds to stress and work on returning to safety during moments of dysregulation. I’ll also guide you in developing self-compassion for how your nervous system keeps you safe.

  • I’ll help you respond to difficult emotions with kindness, building resilience and reducing self-criticism.

  • At your pace, I’ll gently guide you to connect with your body’s sensations, fostering a deeper mind-body connection.

  • I’ll teach you practical skills that will help you practice mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness.

  • Our relationship in therapy acts as a mirror for your interactions outside of it. By creating a space of trust and safety, we can explore patterns in relationships, helping you develop deeper, more authentic connections in your life outside of therapy.

  • I’ll help you reframe unhelpful thoughts and beliefs to reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, and more.

  • We’ll explore different parts of yourself to resolve internal conflicts and create inner harmony.

  • I’ll encourage and guide creative expression to process emotions, explore trauma, and gain personal insight in a non-verbal way.

Next Steps and What To Expect

FAQs

  • While I wish I could help everyone, it's important for me to honor my limits so that I can continue to provide the best care possible for my current clients. At this time, my caseload is full as I’ve recently welcomed several new clients, and I currently have a waitlist of three individuals. I know how important it is to find the right therapist, so I’d be happy to offer a brief 15-minute phone consultation to explore if we would be a good fit. If so, I can add you to my waitlist, or I’d be happy to provide trusted referrals to other providers who may have more immediate availability.

For those on my waitlist, please note that therapy is a long-term commitment, and I deeply value the trust my clients place in me, which is why I cannot predict when a spot may open up. However, things are always ebbing and flowing, and I will let you know as soon as possible when a spot becomes available.

  • Yes, I accept most major insurances, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, and more.

During our consultation call, I will verify your benefits to determine if I am in-network with your insurance. If I am out of network with your insurance plan, we can discuss out of pocket options. My starting rate is $150, and I offer sliding scale options to lower that price if needed.

Please note: I am not in-network with Medicaid or Medicare. Due to state and federal laws, I unfortunately cannot accept out-of-pocket payments from individuals with these insurances, but I can provide you with a referral list to providers who accept your insurance.

  • Yes, I offer both in-person sessions at my office in Tinton Falls, NJ, and virtual telehealth sessions for clients in New Jersey. Both options provide the same level of care and support.

  • I would love to connect with you! You can schedule a free 15-minute consultation by reaching out through the contact form on this website, by phone, or via email. During this consultation, we’ll take time to discuss your needs, confirm insurance coverage, and see if we feel like a good fit for working together.

That said, at this time, my caseload is full, and I have a waitlist of three clients. If you're not in a space to wait, I completely understand, and I’d be happy to refer you to trusted providers who may have availability. Some clients prefer to explore these referrals while remaining on my waitlist, and I’m more than happy to support that option as well. Whatever feels right for you, I’ll be here to help.

  • In our first 60-minute initial intake session, we will discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, your personal goals, and any concerns you have. It’s a time for you to share your story, and for me to listen. I’ll also ask some questions to get to know you better and begin developing a collaborative treatment plan tailored to your needs.

  • We will meet for 60-minute sessions either weekly or bi-weekly to start, depending on your needs and preferences. The frequency of sessions can be adjusted as we move through the therapy process and based on your progress.

  • The length of therapy varies for each individual. Some clients may benefit from short-term therapy focused on specific goals, while others may require longer-term support, particularly for trauma and complex trauma. We will work together to assess your progress and adjust our plan as needed.

  • It’s completely normal to feel nervous about starting therapy. Beginning this journey takes courage, and I am here to support you every step of the way. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, accepted, and empowered to take the next steps in your healing.
